The Masaki Foundation Bursary Scheme
# Opening Doors Through Education: The Masaki Foundation Bursary Scheme
Education can change the direction of a life. But for many children, the cost of staying in school can stand between their potential and the future they hope to build.
The Masaki Foundation’s Bursary Scheme was established to help children from disadvantaged backgrounds access education. The Foundation reports that the scheme has supported more than 500 students, helping to widen opportunity for learners across the country.
A bursary is more than financial assistance. It can help a learner remain focused on their studies, give families support during a difficult period, and strengthen the belief that every child deserves the chance to learn and progress. When communities invest in education, they invest in the people who will help shape their future.
The need for this work continues. Many deserving students still face barriers that can interrupt their education. That is why the Foundation is working to build a sustainable bursary fund, including through an endowment that can receive support from partners, alumni and other well-wishers.
Together, we can help more learners stay in school and pursue their ambitions. If you would like to support the Bursary Scheme or learn how to get involved, connect with the Masaki Foundation.
Every learner deserves the opportunity to keep going.
